Affiliate marketing is a marketing process where a business rewards affiliates for directing customers to their website.
Affiliate marketing can be used on many different types of websites, for example,
Comparison websites,
Blogs and RSS feeds,
Product review websites.
These sites can feature products from retailers which they can then link to through an affiliate link. If the customer goes on to purchase the product then usually the affiliate get a percentage of the final sale total.
Afilliate marketing is an effective way of making money with very little initial money needing to be invested. You will need a website and not much else. It is then just a case of filling your website with content and adding links to the relevant pages via the affiliate links. Obviously time and effort will still need to be put into the site and you shouldn't expect results overnight. Although the effects should pay off in the long run.
